Important Information Regarding End-of-Course Exams

This spring high school students will be taking end-of-course exams that measure readiness for college or a position in the workforce. These exams are a requirement for graduation.

Students who take high school English Language Arts I and II, Integrated Math 1, Geometry, Biology, American History and American Government will take end-of-course exams in these subjects. To avoid double testing, students participating in Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or College Credit Plus programs in Biology, American history and American government will be notified to take the corresponding tests instead of Ohio’s end-of-course exams in these subjects.

Struthers High School will be testing English Language Arts, Integrated Math I, Geometry, Government, and some American History the week of April 16-19. The rest of American History and Biology students will be testing April 23-26.

We will be following a two hour delay schedule April 16-19 to allow our freshman, sophomores, and juniors to take the tests and we will be following a modified full day schedule the week of April 23-26. These schedules can be found here. Additional information about testing can be found in our parent letter.
