MANDATORY OHSAA SPRING SPORTS MEETING

There will be a mandatory OHSAA Spring Sports Meeting on March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at Struthers Middle School for all Spring Athletes in Grades 7-12 and their parents. This meeting is mandatory for all even if you participated in a Fall or Winter sport. Please make arrangements now to attend this meeting

Every student is welcome to attend school breakfast at Struthers Middle School from 7:30-8 a.m. Breakfast costs $1.50 per student and is served in the cafeteria.

Struthers Schools to place safety buckets in each classroom

The Struthers City School District hopes its latest effort to protect its students will be more than just a drop in the bucket. The school's security team assembled safety buckets that will soon be placed in each classroom in the case of an emergency.

A public hearing will be held by the Struthers City School District on Tuesday, January 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Board of Education Office, located at 99 Euclid Avenue, Struthers.

Fall Semester Update

During the fall semester of the 2015-2016 school year, there were 7 cases of bullying and/or harassment at Struthers Middle School.

Struthers City School District Says Thank You to Credit Union for Generous Donation

?In mid-September, the Struthers Federal Credit Union graciously donated approximately $600 worth of school supplies to the Struthers City School District. The members of the credit union joined together to donate school supplies or matching cash gifts to purchase the supplies needed, including several TI-83 calculators.

Special Board of Education Meeting

There will be a special meeting of the board held on Tuesday, November 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Board of Education Office. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss transportation and to hold a work session.
