Struthers City Schools Announce Kindergarten Registration

Struthers City Schools will begin Kindergarten Registration the week of February 12th. Registration packets will be available for pick-up at the Board of Education Office, located at 99 Euclid Avenue. A special registration will also be held at the elementary school on February 15th, from 3-8 p.m., during parent/teacher conference night.

Completed registrations must be returned to the Board of Education Office, hours of operation are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The following items are required for kindergarten registration: residential children must be five years of age on or before September 30, the child’s birth certificate, shot record, custody documents (all legal documentation pertaining to the child's custody/visitation) and three proofs of residency. The individual registering the child will be required to provide a proof of identification that matches the birth certificate or legal documents.

Kindergarten Screening will take place between April and May, all children fully registered will be scheduled, screened and possibly selected for the United Way Success By Six program in late July.
