Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 & 1968 Undefeated Wildcat Football Teams

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 & 1968 Undefeated Wildcat Football TeamsStruthers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the undefeated 1967 and 1968 football seasons with pre-game, halftime and post-game festivities, at the Wildcats vs. Niles All-American Conference White tier clash on September 7th.

Approximately 35 individuals from the ’67 and ’68 teams or a family representative as well as cheerleaders were in attendance, recognized and honored for their outstanding team accomplishments.

Both teams went undefeated, winning 21 straight games and were recognized as Steel Valley Champions.

A commemorative ticket was given to the players in attendance and was designed by Sarah Hall (Struthers Class of ‘95) at the Print Factory in North Lima.
