Foundation To Hold Its Last High School Basketball Showcase

Struthers Hope Classic VolunteersThe Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley will present their sixth and final Hope Classic High School Basketball Showcase o n Saturday, December 9 at the Struthers Field House. Action begins at 3 p.m. with two boys and two girls games on tap.

All proceeds generated will benefit The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. Since it's inception in 2012, the event has raised thousands of dollars for chronically/terminally ill children in the Mahoning Valley.

The Hope Classic schedule is as follows:
  • 3 p.m.: South Range vs Brookfield (Girls)
  • 4:30 p.m.: Howland vs. Struthers (Girls)
  • 6 p.m.: LaBrae vs Struthers (Boys)
  • 7:30 p.m.: South Range vs Malvern (Boys)

Additional activities include and exhibition between the LaBrae and Struthers sixth-grade boys teams, who will play an exhibition during halftime of the LaBrae vs. Struthers boys game at 7:30 p.m. More information on sponsorships or tickets, can be found at www.hopemv.org/hope.
