  • A MANDATORY OHSAA Winter Sports Meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on November 7 at SMS. All parents & students who plan to play a winter sport should be in attendance.

Join Us for Family Learning Night

Struthers Elementary School will host a NEW Family Learning Night for 2nd & 3rd grade students and their families from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 14th at the elementary school.

The evening will include family-driven activities centered around reading, writing and math. Activities include parts-of-speech mad libs, a family writing activity and math games. Something new this year, students are encouraged to bring a ‘well-read’ book from home to exchange it for a ‘well-loved’ book from another family. Join Us for Family Learning Night

Mini-workshops on Bridges Math strategies and math learning websites will be presented by SES teachers. Parents who attend will also learn tips and strategies to utilize when reading with their children at home. A snack will be provided to wrap up the evening.
