Congratulations to January’s PAWS winners! These students continue to go above and beyond, making smart character and academic choices. We encourage all of the students at SES to make smart choices to become the best Wildcat they can.

The PAWs winners are: Kindergarten: Max Kosa, Gino Coppola, Gabriella Perez, Carlee Crawford; First Grade: Sarah Lombardo, Karissa Logan; Second Grade: Cooper Creighton, Savannah Anderson, Patricia Rhoads, Adrian Gelonese, Danilynn Peterson; Grade Three: Melina Johnson, Natalie Lynn Wolikow, Kylie Schiedel; Grade Four: Siena Taylor, Leaira Corinaldi, Neithian Michaels, Thomas Cope, Juliya Parker

At the end of this month we will begin the Ohio online assessments for English Language Arts and continue throughout the month of April for Math and Social Studies. To ensure your child is prepared, please make sure they get a good night sleep, eat a healthy breakfast either at home or school, arrive on time and are reminded to do their very best! The students have been working very hard all year and this is their chance to show what they know! If your child is absent on a testing day they will make up the test upon their return.

The Struthers City School District in cooperation with family and a community founded on tradition, recognize our role as a catalyst for change to enhance student achievement and develop good character as we create appropriate academic, technological, and vocational opportunities for all students.

Based on the needs of our students, we are dedicated to providing a diversified, integrated, and flexible curriculum that develops independent and responsible citizens capable of making critical decisions.

As a primary partner in providing educational leadership, we will create links with family, business, and community agencies to ensure the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
